I began losing feeling & strength in my hands, then arms, and then legs and feet.  I was seeing 3 doctors:  a family doctor, a pain specialist, and Dr. Hank.  The pain specialist told me it was carpal tunnel, and prescribed medication – it did no good.  Dr. Hank suggested it was a herniated disc in my neck and suggested I get an MRI, but I hesitated because of what the MD had said.  Several weeks later, I was to the point of barely being able to feed myself so I agreed to the MRI.  He read the MRI the same day, and immediately sent me to see a neurosurgeon.  I had surgery less than a week later.

The neurosurgeon was able to get much of the strength and some of the feeling back into my arms and legs.  He told me if I hadn’t had the surgery when I did, I would have died.  Dr. Hank, a chiropractor, identified a problem that two MD’s had not.  If Dr. Hank hadn’t found the problem, I might not be alive now.  Ray L. "One visit to Dr. Hank's clinic for some minor neck pain and circulation problems in my wrists that had previously been diagnosed as carpal tunnel syndrome has resulted in my total amazement at the breadth and quality of his approach to my well being.  At sixty-six years of age, I am not easily amazed by much.

After the first visit, I have been able to sleep throughout the night without being wakened by the loss of circulation in both hands, and without wearing wrist braces that I have been using for about two years.  In addition, circulation has been improved in the toes of both feet when the neurologist who diagnosed neuropathy of the toes did not offer any help.  The neck pain also improved.

"In my previous comments, I noted that Dr. Hank initiated a course of treatment for my kidney disease, and that I had blood tests scheduled by my kidney doctor for this month of July, 2009.
