What Does it Cost?
An office visit is separated as to whether it is traumatic or non-traumatic. Traumatic is where the body has been subjected to injury, such as a car accident, falling off a house, falling off a horse, or injuries at work. Non-traumatic is where you have a discomfort or pain without a direct cause or trauma, such as a headache, picking up a newspaper, feeling pain in the lower back, etc.
Non Traumatic Care
Visits start at $40; initial visits are $10 more for paperwork and exam including evaluation, diagnosis, and necessary treatment, all of which will be performed on the initial visit. You may or may not need additional items, such as X-Rays, at an extra cost.
Traumatic Care
Traumatic care is based upon the nature of the injury. Visits run from $100 - $500. Traumatic care will take longer to treat and return to pre-injury status. Magnitude of care is directly proportional to magnitude of injury. Usually the patient will need concentrated care to expedite recovery.
